Interior Designer Portfolios Online Hey artists and designers! What comments and recommendations do you have for my new online portfolio?
I am a student at Ohio University. I was studying for my MFA but switched to Interior Design last year with intentions to still receive a minor in art. Here’s my webpage which I’ll be adding a lot more too soon! Any changes I should make? This is mostly for my friends and professors to see but I will certainly use it to find internships down the road. Thanks!

Just a few observations…
You might want to reconsider those image-based buttons (Home, About, Artwork, etc.) . Just text would do… you’re not adding anything to the design by using images, except loading time.
The navigation should be consistent (or at least present) throughout the site. When I looked at your color studies, I had to use the “home” link to get back to the index, to then click on artwork again to view another category of art. That’s annoying. I ended up just using my browser’s “back” button. You should never force people to use their browser controls when viewing your site.
Your body’s margin/padding isn’t set to 0 in the CSS, so there’s a white border around the entire site. The gray header and sidebar don’t flit flush to the browser’s edges.
Your resume has a blank 2nd page.

Interior Design Rates Per Hour A possible design? physics? 10 pts?
A possible design for a space colony: it consists of a cylinder of diameter 7 km and length 30 km floating in space. Its interior is provided with an earthlike environment, and to stimulate gravity, the cylinder spins on its axis. What should the rotation rate of the cylinder spins be on its axis? What should the rotation rate of the cylinder be, in revolutions per hour, so that a person standing on the landmass will press down on the ground with a force equal to his or her weight on earth?
the answer is 30.3 r/h
but i do not understand how u solve it. What formula do i use? what equation(s)/formula do i use? Where did time come from (hours) if i’m only given diameter and length. And for diameter i have to change it to radius too right?
i feel so confused and lost. 10 pts for best answer
Use the equation for centripetal force to figure out the rate.
ma = mv^2/r
the masses will cancel out and you know what the acceleration is because you want the gravity to be the same on earth. You are given diameter, solve for velocity. Convert units properly and wa la. there it is.
